(6th) Change of Plans

The community project of Planting Casuarina Trees appeared to be a complex project because of its complicated approval process. Since the Vice Chancellor Prof N.L.A Karunaratne's personal involvement is required in the approval process we were asked to wait till the Vice Chancellor returns to Sri Lanka to, which scheduled for the 10th of April, 2014 in order to  proceed with the project.

Since the final presentation was due on 9th of April, we decided to look for an alternative Community Project. As a result we decided to go ahead with donating clocks which was already there in the shortlist of Community Projects.

Then we searched for places where clocks are essentially needed. Finally we got to know that the Department of History and Archaeology needs clocks for their lecture halls. Then we decided to donate clocks to the Department of History and Archaeology. We went in search for clocks on the same day.
