(1st) Inception

 First of all the members of our group Dinakara Samarakoon, Chathurika Karunanayaka, Chamini Wijesinghe and Thilomi  Karunathilaka, gathered in the classroom and discussed what we are going to do for the projects. Many suggestions came up and we could narrow it down to a few choices after discussing about the feasibility.

As for the beginning, project proposals from each group were presented and  discussed in the class room. Different views on the project proposals were expressed by class mates and as a result we could narrow down our project proposals to the following choices:

Community Project

1. Repairing lockers in the hostel
2. Installing a tube light in a hut
3. Donating gloves for cleaners in the faculty

Department project

1. Updating the DLH computer with Windows 7
2. Installing an effective virus guard (Kaspersky)
3. Donating a dustbin for the department

After a series of discussions we finally decided to repair lockers in the hostel and to donate a dustbin for the Department of English. We presented our ideas to Miss Dilini Walisundera, the subject coordinator for the subject English for Employment in order to obtain her approval.

We hope to create an impact!!!
